  • How should we maintain the cutting board?

  • Before using the cutting board, rinse it with clean water, so as to remove the dust on it, use warm water to clean it, and wipe it with a cloth after washing. Then hang it on the wall, so as to avoid moisture on it, too wet, which will cause discoloration or mildew. And it is best not to wipe the wooden cutting board with detergent, which will make some residues of the cleaning agent on the wooden cutting board.
    After cutting very oily food with a cutting board, scrub it with hot water to remove the oil on it. If there is mildew or small cracks on the cutting board, replace it with a new one. If there is some peculiar smell on the sticky board, or a fishy smell, mix it with kosher salt and lemon and then wash it.
